Roger has been an inspiration to me for most of my adult life although I never did meet him in person. His work spoke for itself and his commitment to excellence shone through everything he did. I am sorry Roger wasn’t still with us to accept this award but I am happy he was no stranger to the Grammy Awards community in the past! I found the acceptance of this award by his family to be very moving and well spoken.
