The Miami chapter of NARAS P&E Wing has been working on documentation for transferring Pro Tools sessions between studios. With the documentation is a FileMaker Pro database for keeping track of important session information. The FileMaker document is a work in progress. The current version is not the most beautiful possible version, but as soon as the content requirements are finalized, the GUI will be improved for all.
Because documentation of DAW sessions is important, I have provided here a link to download the FileMaker document so that those who wish to can start using it now to keep track of ProTools session parameters.
A copy of the FileMaker document with included database should be included with every session. Keep the original empty and make a copy so that there is a new FileMaker document for each session.
